IHIT Requesting Possible Witnesses to Come Forward

Surrey:  The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is looking for information to identify possible person(s) of interest in the murder of Maple BATALIA at Simon Fraser University in Surrey on September 28, 2011 at 0108 hours.

The two men pictured in this video are not suspects.  They are persons of interest who may have information relevant to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team’s on-going investigation.“These persons are not suspects in this crime, but may have information from before, during or after the crime that could possibly assist IHIT investigators." says Sgt. Jennifer Pound

Maple BATALIA was a young woman who was never given the chance to live a full life.  Nobody has the right to take anyone’s life away.  We know there are people who may have information about her murder and we ask that you think of Maple and her family and the loss they are, and will forever, be facing.  Maple died a tragic death and police are asking you to do your part in assisting with this investigation by forwarding any and all information you have.  We are asking you work with us to ensure this doesn’t happen to any more innocent victims.
