Break & Enter - Totem Mall FSJ11-13309

On December 19th, 2011 the Fort St. John RCMP responded to a break and enter at the Totem Mall located at 9600 93rd Ave in Fort St John. Upon attending, it was discovered that at approximately 5:30am, a male broke into the mall by breaking the glass on an East facing entrance with a sledge hammer. The male suspect then entered the unoccupied mall and proceeded to the Bell Kiosk where he broke into the display case and stole a considerable amount of iPhones. The amount of phones stolen is estimated at between 60-70. The cell phones include the models - iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S and range from 8GB to 64GB. The stolen iPhones are both black and white in color and are valued between $550 - $870.00. The suspect fled the scene in a white pickup truck with unknown license plates.
The Fort St. John RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in recovering the stolen property as well as identifying a suspect. Please be mindful of possible stolen property when purchasing an IPhone or any other electronics at discount prices this holiday season.
If a person is caught with stolen property they will lose the property, possibly be charged, and will not be compensated for the money they used to purchase the property.
