Fort St John Hit By Rash of B&E's
Fort St. John RCMP: July 28, 2010
In July 2010, Fort St John has been hit with a rash of Residential Break and Enters. The suspect(s)
have been mainly targeting unoccupied residential houses and townhouses during daytime hours but
there has been several B&E's overnight as well. In one incident, the homeowner was home at the
time and encountered the thief inside her residence. Fortunately, the suspect fled without stealing
anything and the homeowner was not injured.
The thief (or thieves) have been targeting mainly TV's and portable electronic devices but have also
taken cash and jewelry as well. Typically, entry was gained through unlocked or inadequately
secured windows.
Fort St John RCMP General Duty members, the Crime Reduction Unit and Forensic Identification
Services are actively investigating this rash of B&E's and believe that the same person or group of
person are responsible for most, if not all of them. Police also believe a vehicle is involved in the
commission of these crimes.
The Fort St. John RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the person(s)
responsible for these B&E's. If you have information regarding this incident, please call the Fort St

reward of up to $2000.00 will be paid for any information which leads to an arrest and charge.
